Blom Design
One of our regular partners is Blom Design, a strategic design agency from Almere. They had designed a visually strong website themselves but had it built in Webflow. Although the design was impressive, they ran into Webflow’s limitations. Webflow is primarily a design tool but lacks the power of a true marketing machine. The result? A beautiful website that lacked the flexibility for structural growth and conversion.
The project
It is always a great compliment when a partner asks you to build their website. It is an even greater compliment when that partner is an expert in UX and UI themselves and gives you complete creative freedom. Rightly and naturally, “beautiful” was not good enough this time; the site had to become indispensable in Google and be ready for the future of AI overviews and summaries. Just as naturally, you then choose a smartly designed WordPress environment, resulting in an intuitive, accessible, and sustainable website. A technical masterpiece with respectable PageSpeed scores approaching 100’s.
